SIG AIAA Workshop (before the International Conference on Information Systems)

This workshop will address issues related to artificial intelligence, cognitive systems and its applications, particularly with applications to business settings and problems and to autonomous systems. All aspects of artificial intelligence and cognitive intelligence are of interest, including emerging concerns with

  • cognitive computing, cognitive knowledge acquisition, representing cognitive knowledge
  • natural language and cognitive assistance
  • Internet of Things (IOT),
  • ontologies for AI,
  • machine learning,
  • knowledge from data, text, audio and video
  • question answering,
  • smart advisor applications,
  • neural networks,
  • knowledge representation and management,
  • multiple agent models,
  • real world applications,
  • impact of AI systems in organizations,
  • autonomous applications,
  • autonomic systems,
  • text analysis, etc.

Researchers should submit their research for consideration for the workshop to Daniel E. O’Leary, . In order to be considered for presentation, papers should be submitted by October 31. Presenters and attendees will be required to register for the workshop. This workshop is sponsored by the special interest group of “Artificial and Cognitive Intelligence for Autonomic Applications.”

For those interested, the organizers expect to do a special issue of Wiley’s Intelligent Systems in Accounting, Finance and Management, which is indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (Clarivate Analytics), Google Scholar, INSPEC (IET), SCOPUS (Elsevier), The DBLP Computer Science Bibliography (University of Trier), Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) and other sources.
